Dr. Shauna Ault graduated from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.  She practiced as a "conventional" veterinarian for several years, taking care of many different kinds of animals.  In 1997, Dr. Ault began training in complementary therapies for animals, including:

Acupuncture (IVAS trained)
Chiropractic (AVCA certified), and Network Chiropractic technique

Dr. Ault continues to expand the therapeutic options for animals in the greater Boise area.  Her German Shepherd "Bella", horse "Dancer", and cats "Max" and "Annabelle", also enjoy living in the Treasure Valley.

Leslie Mass, Assistant has been working with Dr. Ault and the clients and patients of Aulternatives since January of 2007.  She was raised by a chiropractor and her first job was working in her father's chiropractic office.  Alternative medicine has been a part of her life, since before her birth.  Leslie recognizes its value and is grateful to be a part of a practice that shares the benefits of alternative medicine with pets.  After all, our pets are a part of our family.
 
Leslie shares a home in Nampa with her cats "Panama" and "Red Chief".  She thoroughly enjoys living near her family in Oregon, Washington, and Utah.

Cheryl Rosti, Assistant joined the Aulternatives staff in March 2010.
She was born and raised in the country and grew up with the knowledge that we receive immeasurable good, uncounted pleasures, enormous security, and learn many critical lessons about life by owning animals.
She is excited to be part of a team that values the health and wellness of every animal family member.
Cheryl still lives out in the country with her family, Darrel and kids Samantha and Tyler, along with a variety of very spoiled pets.
